Fiber is Coming to Lehi!

Lehi City is in the process of building a fiber-optic broadband network to provide high-speed Internet services to its community. After completing a Fiber Feasibility Study, Lehi City engaged in a competitive process to hire a company to design, construct, and operate a fiber network. This page will provide information and updates throughout the duration of the project.

AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM

The Affordable Connectivity Program stopped accepting new applications and enrollments on February 7, 2024. The last fully funded month of the program is April 2024.

  • All ACP households enrolled at the time of the enrollment freeze, February 7, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET, will be able to remain enrolled through the final month of ACP service if they are not required to be de-enrolled under FCC rules.
  • Households that are de-enrolled from the program, such as for failure to use their ACP-supported service, will not be able to re-apply or re-enroll in the ACP during the enrollment freeze.

ACP enrolled households are strongly encouraged to carefully review written notices from their internet company and from the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), the ACP administrator, about the ACP wind-down.

Households are also encouraged to consult their internet company to learn more about how the end of the ACP will impact their internet service and bill.

For more updates about the ACP Wind Down, refer to AffordableConnectivity.gov.

Construction Update

We are thrilled to announce that the very first area of the Lehi City Fiber Network is now connecting customers! The next area is now moving into the construction phase. Construction crews will be in this area working on placing the mainline fiber. You can see this area on the map below.

A lot goes into building a fiber network. While there are many pieces to connecting residents to fiber, we are excited to take this big step! We anticipate connecting the first customers by Spring 2023.

Stay tuned and make sure you’ve pre-registered to get fiber when the crews are in your area! There is no cost or commitment to pre-register today, and there is no cost to have the connection installed during the construction phase. To pre-register your address visit https://lehi.fibertomycity.com.
